Browsing this site
This version does not include an advertising pixel, newsletter signup, analytics script or visitor account managed by AutoTech Review. It does not store filter preferences, campaign briefs or buying-tool inputs in browser storage.
The hosting provider may process technical information needed to serve the site, maintain security and control access. This is a publicly accessible website.
Buying tools
The fuel calculator runs in your browser. Calculating or copying a comparison places your vehicle labels and numbers in its URL so you can bookmark or share it. Anyone with the link can see those inputs; the host may receive the URL when it is opened. Do not enter personal information in vehicle labels.
Test-drive ticks and notes are not sent to a website server or saved in browser storage. They reset on reload. If you print or save a PDF, that copy is handled by your browser and chosen device or destination.
Campaign briefs
The partnership form prepares an email draft in your browser. It does not submit the brief to a website server. You review the draft before choosing to open your email application or copy it.
If you send the email, its contents are handled by your email service and AutoTech Review’s email service. Information in an inquiry is used to evaluate and respond to the proposed collaboration.
Video privacy
Saved YouTube thumbnails are served with the website. New uploads and image fallbacks may load thumbnail images from YouTube before you play the video. Video companion pages load a YouTube player after you press Play. Dedicated watch pages load the player when you open them. These pages are linked as “Open video watch page” or “Watch”. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. Loading it connects your browser to YouTube and may allow YouTube to process device and playback information.
Privacy-enhanced playback does not mean that no data is processed. You may instead use the Watch on YouTube link, which opens the third-party website.
External links
YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and any other destination you choose have their own privacy practices. No email is sent when you merely prepare a campaign draft.
