What will your driving cost?
Compare two cars using your annual distance, fuel price and fuel-economy estimates.
How the estimate works
Metric: annual kilometres × L/100 km ÷ 100 × price per litre.
U.S.: annual miles ÷ miles per US gallon × price per US gallon. Imperial MPG is a different measure and is not supported here.
Monthly cost is annual cost divided by 12. Costs use unrounded inputs and are rounded for display. Both cars use the same fuel price in this comparison. The estimate covers fuel only. Weather, traffic, driving style and the vehicle can change consumption; purchase cost, insurance, servicing, taxes and electricity are excluded.
Use figures for the exact model year, trim and powertrain. Consult Natural Resources Canada’s fuel-consumption ratings or the U.S. EPA fuel-economy website, or enter your own measured consumption.
Calculations run in your browser. Inputs enter the address only when you calculate or copy a comparison. Checklist notes are not included.
